Torch is searching for a little girl to play 10 years-old (or younger) as Helen Keller in their production of The Miracle Worker, directed by Craig Johnson. This is a co-production at the History Theatre (rehearsals and performances would all take place at their theater in St. Paul). The commitment is December 1 – February 21. Student matinees will be included in this run. If you’re interested and available, please send an email to info@torchtheater.com to secure an audition space. Auditions will be held on the 27th from 5pm - 8pm.

Audition workshops for Teens! Another fun and informative class designed to give an intro into theater. Working with instructor, Stacia Rice, students will have an opportunity to explore a variety of characters, based on the student's needs. Torch Theater is searching for girls aged 8-12 for an acting workshop. This fun, gentle and informative class is designed to give girls with an interest of theater an intro into the practice of the craft.
Working with instructor, Stacia Rice, girls will have an opportunity to explore young, female characters in such classic plays as To Kill A Mockingbird, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, The Miracle Worker, and Our Town. Auditions/Introductions will be held to determine class breakdown and schedule.
No prior acting experience is necessary.
